We are excited to unveil the new brand identity for Richmond United FC with a new club crest. We distilled the essence of our brand into a fresh new look that represents the community of Richmond while retaining our vibrant legacy colours. With the merger of RFC and RUSC, our combined club needed a new brand to reflect who we are, where we come from, and what we want to be.

Today’s launch has been months in the making. The board engaged a design agency, who donated their time, then asked our members for input, to come to a final design that is both modern and reflective of our past, and that embraces the breadth of our community, from East to West, North and South, with elements of both RFC and RUSC.

Over 150 incidences of member feedback were received online from marketers, designers and parents and players in the community with plenty of conversations among folks at the training field. We heard your thoughts, positive and negative, and pulled the process back to a place that looked more intently at our roots and our differentiators from other places.

The colours and the iconography were all reimagined to reflect your thoughts with over 65 drafts and several board votes. After many hours, finally, we are UNITED.
